Dropped a lad over this morning does the stage lighting and backdrops said they had to strip out 4 truck loads last night for GnR but 14 truck loads for the Chillys .Must be some stage show .He said most of the Crew are local labour on day rate .9 days start to finish .Then over to Aviva then the big two Friends in Low Places and the Picnic .Then its back to the 02 and smaller gigs .He works full time does film lighting as well .He reckoned most lads made more on Covid .The work for most is seasonal suits students .

Please explain this line from your guidance for Public transport services @ Marley Park ..The area identified for pick up and drop off will be designed to facilitate taxi, private hire and uber.

Since when do UBER operate anything other than a Licenced Taxi Service in The Republic of Ireland or Private hire .Please explain why UBER are mentioned outside of this criteria
 I look forward to you explaining or withdrawing this obvious blatant promotion of a Taxi dispatcher in an official publication .While not mentioning every other taxi dispatcher .

I wish we had a decent traffic plan in place fer Friday's Elton John concert down here, there is gonna be a lot of oldies coming out of that concert to find out that they have a 3km walk back in to town. No shuttle bus or regular bus service or no taxies allowed near the venue !

Dosent happen on GAA match days .Seems like concert goers are different  cant be allowed out in traffic .Gards have a Public Safety obligation the exclusion zones cover their arse .I would think the unspoken not said out of sight gathers no moss real reason for exclusion zones is .The further away you get from the venue the less dense the crowds are .If somebody decided to ram a few cars into a crowd close to the stadium there could be a stampeed as well as impact injuries .I would think that the Gards are aware that we are not immune from terror attacks .We are one of the very few EU member States that have not had any terrorism attacks yet .That lad in Sligo who butchered the two Gay lads has never claimed he did it for God or Allah

  The issue we spoke of seems to be rectified .The wording has been amended to now read ..PUDO AND TAXI ROUTE
All vehicles picking up and dropping off will be directed to Supervalu on Ballinteer Avenue where a dedicated Taxi Pick Up is located. The area identified for pick up and drop off will be designed to facilitate taxi and private hire. The Pick UP & Drop Off area will be stewarded. We kindly ask that all Taxis and private hires cooperate and use the dedicated Pick Up & Drop Off Area and the allocated routes to Supervalu which is clearly signed with VMS and signage. In order to mitigate disturbances and to ensure the safety of all people, Security & Stewards & an Garda Síochána will be present in and around Marlay Park.

The last couple of evenings have been extremely busy, in my experience... without getting within 12.7 Kilos of Rathfarnham. That's where the apps come into their own I guess... allowing drivers concentrate on specified destinations well away from any traffic hotspots.

A lot of people will be on drugs at the Elton John concert, mainly low-dose aspirin, beta-blockers, statins, etc.
