anybody have one. supposed to be the successor to the avensis. i want it to be my next car but it feels a little bit cramped in the back to me. not as bad as an 09 octavia i had but still cramped. i hate transmission tunnel humps. the avensis hadda perfectly flat floor in the back. all toyotas have humps in the back now even the camry.

Do u sit in the back?
No
So don't worry about it

The 1.8 petrol/hybrid Corolla will hopefully be my next Joe costing about 28k.
I would rather another Avensis, but alas !
And the Camry is too good and too expensive (43k) fer a night Taxi.

I did test drive a nua Corolla and Yes it is smaller than the Avensis, but fer 28k it's a work-horse and will do the job.

The Camry has tinted windows in the rear and that's a suitability fail.  Maybe check what kind of glass the Corolla has?

The base model Corolla has clear windows. It's still 29k new though for the saloon version in white..If used to be 28k.

If you can ,avoid the ones with the big alloys. They'll be noisey as hell and won't be great on the MPG.

The Corolla that I test drove was the sport version and had tinted rear windows, which would be a suitability fail, the standard version has clear windows.

fair play ken. anudder thing i'd be worried about is the rear passanger air vents.
cunts will be fiddling them on and off and they'll get broke to bits gettin kicked inadvertenly.
i'm gonna get that swapped out with a plain slab.

It's the 1.8 inch drop in height that makes the Corolla seem cramped.

I don't need to replace till 2027, and it depends on my health if I go new or part worn.

I'd hazard a guess at you being at least part-worn by 2027. 8)
