I think it might be fun (for want of a better word) for the Shinners, PBP & all the other professional moaners to get into power for awhile.  Let's see if they really have all the answers to society's problems.  Sure, the economy might collapse for a year or two but it would settle the argument once and for all.  At least we'd be kept busy driving emigrants to the airport and port!

SF had a crack at power in Northern Ireland and Phoenix magazine did a good job reporting on it.  They behaved just like all the other politicians.  I can't remember all the details but they basically divided Belfast up between themselves and one of the Unionist parties.  And all the Govt grant money got divided out along party lines.

And NI is still a sh1thole!  ::)  ::)  ::)

They might not want the job.  Can't see Vlad and Pascal hanging around - Ireland is too small for them and Europe is surely calling.  M.Martin is getting on a bit and he'll need to make his pension money on various boards etc before it gets too late.

Who'd want the job anyways?  We're going to be the laughing stock of Europe.  We're coming up to crunch time via Climate Change and all the agreements we signed (even we had our fingers crossed behind our backs).  Someone is gonna have to confront the farmers and tell them to cop on.  And the current Govt has fukked up big time on the power grid, general power supply & electric vehicles - they're will be fined to hell and back for their lack of planning.  FFS, data centres using the power of a small town but only supplying 10 or 20 jobs...
Politicians on boards.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.

Indeed, it's a thankless task... ask Bertie or the late great CJ... he who laughs quietest laughs last, I guess.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
