Despite opting out I still get offers from pubs/hotels. I took one by accident on March 9th and, as I was beside it and it was going from Clonshaugh to Howth, I decided to cover it... believing that I wouldn't be charged the extra commission. Long story short I was charged €2.00 and given a credit of €0.46. How does that reconcile? I have asked the depot (as below) but am I missing something?

Hi,
With reference to the above invoice I note that I was charged €2.00 for "Hospitality Charge Ireland". I opted out of hospitality jobs some time ago, something that was confirmed within a subsequent survey telephone call from the depot so I don't understand how such a charge could arise. However, the same invoice shows a "Hospitality Rebate" in the amount of 46c.
I would be obliged if you could explain how the charge reconciles with the rebate and, for future reference, what definition you apply to the term "opt out"?
Your attention to the same is very much appreciated and I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Stephen O'Connell.
