Circuit Court can award up to €75,000 in compensation. If the criminal case is dealt with in Circuit and he`s found guilty, he could be in financial trouble. The sitting (District Court) judge refused jurisdiction ergo, it should get kicked up to Circuit.
A taxi driver had to pay out €30,000 about 15 years back to 3 shams he put manners on. Knew him well , lovely guy but not a man to be messed with. .

Central Criminal is a High Court . Very unusual to deal with a District court offence there. €1 and €2k amounts are definitely within District Court scope of damages.

Are there any Irish homeless that need to be homeless? and im not talking about the families in hotels who keep having kids even though they havent a job between them. I know someone who was sleeping in minus 7 degrees on the street and had to be dragged into a house before she died, she was offered lots of accommodation but refused it all, she wasnt well in the head like a lot of Irish homeless.
