O'Connell Street rammed with private cars.

When Daniel O'Connell died in Genoa, he asked that his body go to Ireland, his heart to Rome, and his soul to heaven.

Even O'Connell's heart is not in O'Connell Street:

Democratic Deficite 3% is all it takes to hold or get Power .The Greens got their 3% and rung FG neck while they had the Chance .City Councillors from Dublin not every other City have traveled the World on your Household Charge to see trafic less Cities .Most of which are not built on a Port or were never built for heavy trafic in the first place .Hippies Queers ,Lesbians treehuggers Mungbean Munchers Sandal wearers all can muster 3% and the tail wags the dog .That is Democracy 3% rules the rest .Dont be Surprised if after the General election if the Greens are not needed to form a Government EV Grants Bike lanes blocked off streets all get rowed back .lmagine if we flood the streets with busses the stop go of busses will bring the city to a standstill .

"while access to Fleet Street will be for deliveries and other access needs." Does that mean that left and/or right turns onto Fleet Street from Westmoreland are gone for us?

Doubt it Bob...the pick up for the (old) Testing is on Fleet St and I can't see any restriction from entering Fleet St(Temple Bar) as there's a few hotels that wouldn't be too happy having to have their guests walking with suitcases to their hotels.
