NOTICE: SEMITRON NEW TARIFF BOOKINGS NOW OPEN
We are now taking bookings for the new tariff.
MONDAY TO FRIDAY: A queuing system will be in place at the check-in point opposite D11 DD26 FROM 9AM.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Regular business will operate at D11 DX98.

D11 DD26 - looks like they want people to park up on the opposite side of Tolka Valley Park and drive around when it's their turn?  Very clever.  The last time, the 'other' Skan had queues almost out to the Finglas Road!

About 15 in the queue on Tolka Valley Rd when I drove by 30 mins ago.  I'll be saying my prayers they can find they way to Skan without getting lost  :P

i was up in skan earlier. i hadta get receipt rolls.
a frenzy of activity up there. i'll wait a few weeks til it all blows over.

Anybody know the polite, non-libelous story why there's two Skan's so close to each other?  You'd imagine the first one would have refused permission for the second to use the name - brand recognition 'n' all?

Easy one lad worked for the other and realized the Name Scan was not registered or copywritten .Ken in Scan is a decent bloke he sent me the link to post I will ring sometime .I have been with him since I started .Very helpfull top class work .

I get me receipt rolls online from this crowd below with Free delivery.
Works out cheaper to buy a years supply at a time and delivery is just a few days.

No worries, unfortunately my Hale meter has to print a receipt fer every fare, I used to have a switch on it but my Grumpy meter installer guy will no longer work on an 'ILLEGAL' meter as in a meter with a printer on/off switch on it.

On my semitron you put some tape over the sensor and you don't need a roll in it to close the fare.If someone requests a receipt yo u can reinstall the roll quickly and print away.
