Not as many as there used to be when we had proper fare cards. The odd time folk do enquire I'm not much help. I used to know what the rate per furlong was and the speed at which the rate switched between time and yards, probably 'cos it was all there in black and yella - and we didn't need those €250 ID cards either, a photo chewing gummed to the fare card done the trick.
These days all I can offer by way of explanation is that I just press the buttons and I'm doing well to remember the sequence. In fact I'm doing well to remember that my meter's not on the dashboard anymore if truth be known! Beyond that, I can only advise that the taxi firms set their own fares with some (e.g. Free Now) being significantly more expensive than others (e.g. Lynk, Bolt, Uber) so what's on the meter is just what I get paid (less commission), not what the actual fare charged might be.
