I said maybe. I'm thinking I might do them if/when they impact on demand for full-fare ICE taxis on that platform. Better to take in a dozen fivers than sit around waiting for one tenner, I guess.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

The fool on the hill sees the sun going down... I'd rather go home after 3 hours feeling like an idiot than spend 6 hours convincing myself that I'm clever and broke!

Why not just use another app.
Like Uber or Bolt

I disagree, Ken. JMs is a valid opinion. As we used to say up above in Dublin you'll never be idle if you work for nothing.

However, we have to accept that Free Now know the business a lot better than we do and, as such, know what's required to keep us earning a little while they earn a lot. Given SBs observations it's pretty clear that demand for non EV taxis is diminishing so I guess what we need Free Now et al to determine is whether there is a viable market for diesel/hybrid taxis and, if so, at what fare level.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I did work for Bolt but got fed up trying to update documents through a system that doesn't work and, now, I do work for Uber. Bolt was always secondary to Free Now on my circuit and, based on the 6 hours I worked on Friday/Saturday, Uber is pretty much the same. I probably get 3 times as many job offers from Free Now than from Uber/Bolt.

In any event I suspect what one firm does the others will copy. As non EV drivers we should be grateful for whatever they give us given that their clients don't want to travel in our cars.

If indeed you think JerkMeOff had a "Valid opinion" on the subject, then it was just by pure chance that he posted it, not fer the betterment of the forum but just fer a Laff to put you down.
