Not like you... Thought I'd missed a funeral!
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

The pedestrian was struck by a car on Railway Street in Balbriggan, at around 9pm last night."

Prophetic on Watty's part, I guess. It's barely a month since Gardai Flatley's funeral. RIP.

New keys not the Problem .The cunt who stole the car has a Key they might come back .Dont know if you could fit an ignition isolation switch without fucking up the on board computer stuff ?

The clever thieves now have a gadget that can steal the wireless code from the air.  They stick the gadget through your letterbox and steal the unlock signals.  And off they go.  That's why some recommend sticking your keys in the microwave because it's shielded (doesn't emit signals).

If he didn't have a house alarm already I'd say he's getting one now.Hopefully they come back with the keys and torch it for him.

Still not making any sense to me why someone would break in to anothers house and steal the keys of a Fookin Lecky car and then abandon it 5km away, somewhere where the Gardai could easily find it ?

It makes No Sense to me ??

Ken they rob 4 or 5 cars .Two possibly to go raid the Place they want to rob then they park off the other cars on approach roads so they can change motor .A taxi with 4 or 5 people in it would not look suspicious .

Given the fares we charge these days I guess a taximan wearing a balaclava wouldn't look overly suspicious either!

If they don't like it, they could always go to Westmoreland St for the hourly nitelink (cash only, no cards) that'll drop them a half mile from their house, assuming they don't get assaulted before they get on the bus.  A bespoke service costs money 8)
