Ken if I'm posting about jobs that Im completing then isn't it obvious I'm using it?.Yer no fukking Sherlock Holmes I'll tell ya that much.

On numerous occasions you've been saying how great the app is too while paying for yer base.Every week yer saying if ya don't like it turn it off,,repeatidly defending the app is doing thier job for them..driving 8k to a pick up is behaving like a lapdog employee...even the ambassador wankers wouldn't do that stupid dead mileage.I hope yer getting invites to the staff Xmas party.

Yer obviously not reading the stuff that's being posted when it's posted..I think yer reading the forum threads on different days/weeks so it's easy to lose the meaning of the posts.I've noticed sometimes it takes ya days to respond to threads.Things change fast on forums if yer always catching up you're not gonna get full picture.Just an observation.

Merc I was  no great fan of Hailo but Im giving Mytaxi a second chance .I had a phonecall from the Boss Man three weeks ago and found him to be a reasonable sort of bloke who was willing to listen to the other mans opinion .I think where Hailo fucked up was with PR they had a confrontational attitude twords drivers where the reality is the whole thing works better if we work togeather . In what modern business would you buy 40 euro worth of Christmas 2014 Bonus Crap I was Am an unranked driver but when there is a bonus I go for it .Now that the Pick Up Charge is back I will probably be upgraded to Silver .If you use the app properly it puts coin in your pocket .But Im threading carefully

If mybolix lowered the freight to €10 I reckon they get enough to full fleet.
Look at the number of taxis that Drive across the City to  fuel up in mount Brown for cheaper fuel.
Even the poor hungry Prius drivers are in there fueling up.
So that tells ye that every cent counts to the hard strapped taxi drivers.

S Class .If drivers cover the work and passengers can rely on them they will use the service .A lot of the jobs are bus fare jobs I work Dublin 8,10,12 .Most Dublin 8 jobs are under a tenner but the PUC brings them closer to a tenner .Cork Street to Dame Street is probably the most popular with foreign workers going out to work .Those passengers dont street hail they only know the app .I dont know anything about Mytaxies costs but they have offices marketing and staff plus outstanding loans taken out from Daimler to buy out Hailo and interest to be paid on that .I doubt they make 1% profit from the commission after costs .

I think it's pretty obvious that Daimler doesn't require mytaxi (or any of it's other rideshare apps) to return profits. They're essentially R&D projects, market penetration is what matters. When Daimler merged it's mytaxi subsidiary with Hail0, Hail0 was in negative shareholder equity and was very close to insolvency having pissed away tens of millions of Euros. Do you seriously think Daimler looked at the balance sheets and thought wow there's a chance to make a fortune. Cop on man, what it saw was high market penetration in Ireland and, to a lesser extent, Spain... two markets in which it can out-Uber Uber.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

From MFH;

Ken if I'm posting about jobs that Im completing then isn't it obvious I'm using it?.
No, given the amount of flack that you have given them, then No is the answer.

Yer no fukking Sherlock Holmes I'll tell ya that much.
I never said that I was, or even hinted at it !

I've been saying all that and telling the truth, You on the other hand have been bad-mouthing them Big time, while at the same time using their product !

I'm not happy with paying 12% on the puc that's noting to do with the actual fare, it there to compensate us for passing by people waving at us while on route or in some cases driving up to 10 K to get to the job.
