You night drivers are loaded. When the tax man comes after me he's getting all your plate numbers..

Night work is very different to Day work MFH, as I'm sure you know.

By day you get decent sober customers who chat about the weather, you take them from A to B and sometimes they add a small tip.
By night it's a different story, ya get all types of Drunks and Skunks, Prostitutes, Drug Dealers, Alcoholics, Assaulters, Vomitors, Drunken Students, Etc, Etc.. It's a different Ball game by night and it is a dangerous job.

Granted the Night time driver will make more than the Day time driver, but he earns it the hard way,
Night time Taxi driving is Not fer the faint of heart !

It’s all down to experience.
Just because some turkey sticks up his hand don’t mean you have to stop.
At nighttime when the streets are busy you can pick and choose your work, because there is so much of it one can be selective of who they pick up.
In all my years driving a Jo would never have called night time work dangerous.
Once every so often you pick up a pisshead but that only bucks you up and you go back to be a bit more cautious.

I've done a few nights it's alright but having worked in pubs and restaurants when I was younger I have no appetite for the nightshift.I don't like being around drunks unless I'm drinking too.Feels like I'm babysitting..When ya know where the offices are around town the days are easy.I also like sleeping at night which could be a problem...

I don't really think it's that dangerous at night...if you don't know how to speak to people when they're clearly starting to get irritated you're gonna get trouble.Plenty of junkies and dealers moving around during the day day if you're into it.Only last week I refused a girl because she was in bits from the Mytaxi app. We're not ambulance drivers....even at night..

The streets of Cork are paved with gold!
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

You work with the pissheads john, that’s your market.
I don’t have to rely on taxi ranks and turkeys sticking up there hand to flag you down to make a living.
