Where's all the pictures?
I was kinda thinking that myself too !

The 'Most interesting picture' topic was originally started by FDS back on 'Roy's Roll's'
and it was a very popular thread.

Quite simply if you as a Taxi driver have an interesting picture taken by yourself either
within or outside the cab then post it up here. No Dopey internet pictures, just real stuff.

I was up at Cork airport a few weeks back and joined the lower rank as there were very few cabs there, as I'm stood out of the Joe fer a smoke I see the driver in front of me eating his lunch in the cab, then this Fookin crow arrives on his wing mirror and starts pecking at his window, the driver (Polish) winds down his window and feeds the crow !

Well this particular Crow seemed very smart, I was amazed at the cheek of him pecking on the drivers window fer a hand-out.
Obviousely/Hopefully the driver and bird have history, as in he a regular airport worker who regularly feeds the birds.

In speaking of Crows, I covered a few Schoolies out to East Cork on and off fer the last few years, going out through Castlemartyr at 7.30am and no problems, collect the special needs chungwan in Killeagh and head back home to Cork, coming back through Castlemartyr at 8am was a different story, Tens of Thousands of Crows lined every Gatepost, Wall, Rooftop, Telephone wire. Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" has nothing on this phenomenal sight, it is actually quite scary to drive through, I always close all windows and lock the doors !

Seemingly that is their meeting point each morning, maybe to discuss the previous days encounter's, find out who is Rydeing who, best place fer Grub, Etc.

I had a fresh big bag of peanuts in the door well a couple years ago that i like to pick at in case i still felt peckish after i'd finished my sandwiches. After my shift when i was opening the door the whole bag went and spilled in a big mound in the driveway. Ah bollix i says i'll clean it up tomorrow. The next day when i went out it looked like someone had fucked a gallon or two of white paint over the driver's side of the car. Must have been hundreds of birds.

Picked up an African lad with a vicious looking parrot on his shoulder at the bus depot a good few years back. To convince me it was tame he started a conversation with the bird and invited me to join in. After a while I asks is there many of them where you come from. We're fucking overrun with them mate says the parrot.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Strange things those birds, last year I was in Tesco's fer me late night shop and picked up a packet of cheap Tesco peanuts.
An hour later (5am) I was sat at the 'Chicken run' rank where all the early morning birds come in to pick up the left-overs from the street. I open the Tesco peanuts and they taste like shite, so I exit the cab and pour the peanuts on the ground fer the birds about 15 meters in front of the rank, I sit back in the cab expecting the birds to flock over, but No, not a one went near the peanuts for a full Ten minutes.
Then I got a Hailo job fer 300 meters away on the South Mall which I took and drove off, I collected my customer and headed back past the Chicken run rank, only to see hundreds of birds fighting over the peanuts ! ??
