That seems rather a lot to go up,tou pissibly were penalised.why dont you give Brian J Peirce a ring,and see if they can do any better for you

AXA wont quote over 5 points, I have 6. When BJP is the last company in the world doing taxi insurance, I will give up taxiing.

Bob I understand just how you feel with 6points.when I was with kennco ,who pulled out of the industry,they quoted me 5kwhich I had to take because nobody else would quote me with 6points the following year,I still had my 6 points and I had to pay 5 k for that year also.its only this year im down to 3points so that freed me up to get a quote from BJP  who quoted 2300 for full comp

Only 5 of my points were for speeding,I got one for making an illeegal left turn.that was the one that pushed me over the edge,cause liberty would have quoted me for 5, but not for 6,allianz,on the other hand would have quoted me with 6,but would not quote me because  I was not 5 year accident free at that time.they have you by the short and curleys every way

There should be a mandatory surcharge of €1,270 per penalty point with the monies raised used to lower premiums for law abiding drivers.
