On the basis of 4 players I would suggest you assign the letters A B C and D to each player (in alphabetical order of Christian names) i.e the letter A is assigned to the first player listed in said alphabetical order, etc... and rank the groups of teams from 1 to 4 ideally with group 1 containing the bookies favourite, group 2 containing the 2nd fav, group 3 the 3rd fav and group 4 the 4th fav.
The following lotto numbers are hereby deemed assigned to each letter:
A: 1 - 12
B: 13 - 24
C: 25 - 36
D: 37 - 48
Each player is then assigned a group of teams based on the order of numbers drawn in the next lotto draw i.e if the first number drawn is 13 Player B gets group 1, etc. In the unlikely event that no lotto numbers are drawn from 2 or more players' groups (A-D) the next lotto draw shall determine remaining allocations.

A better solution might have been to use the last numbers drawn in the daily ISEQ index.

That is how the Mafia made their money using the 'Numbers Racket' after prohibition was abolished
using the last 3 digits of the daily Dow Jones index, they offered $300 to a $1 stake to get the 3 right numbers.
Local governments soon saw their scam and how easy it was to make the coin, hence the Lotto !

It looks like a very open World Cup .but all the favs have flaws .Brazil have lost the Passion now that they are all zillionairs ,Germans have been infiltrated by Poles ,Spanish Hate each other and France have to much ethnic diversity to put on a united front .Cant see any team outside the big 4 winning unless Vlad rigs the games .Going to be interesting to see who the Rodent picks he will probably base his choice on which nation has the best Cricket or Darts team and that might not be a bad way to select .

There was a woman playing for China alright. PDC is open to both sexes, several women have competed over the years including Dita Headman and the once pretty Russian bird. Ireland put up a decent fight against Belgium, going down 5-4 in the end. Daryl Guerney played well for Norn Iron but playing with Dolan prove too much of a handicap to overcome.
