Took up painting today..... Fukin shite at it but it beats watchin jeoromy kyle......

Naive Landscapes are hard .But you have captured the essence of the environment, your use of colour rather than light to portray athmosphere  is interesting .Your work is reminicint of Rodrick OConnors early works in the West of Ireland .

Jees john.... Very sharp of ya .... I went in wit the kids to see the o Connor exhibition and the national gallery with the kids.....
We bought paint yesterday ( it's a long summer) an had a go.....
I wonder why the call art work?

Next time your in the National Gallery have a look at The Convent Garden by William Leach ,in my humble opinion the Greatest Irish Painting .

Gonna paint the front of me gaff today(only the top of it,bricks up half way)cleaned out the gutters on Tues,washed them and the facia and soffit...i find it very therapeutic and a bit of a workout aswell....i'll post pitchers when i'm finished.

Good luck to you. I done it a couple of weeks ago. I hate pebble dash.
Done the back at the start of the good weather and it almost kilt me.
But it looks fantastic now. Good for another 10 years
