What is have learned in life is,the Poplar view is not always right. Here is an example of what I mean generally people's view of (say) Nigel Farage is derogatory.why.? Simply because most of the people who espouse such a view, heard everyone else saying something bad about him so they jump on the bandwagon, and suddenly that becomes their own view of this man.now. You sit that same person down in a Room, and ask them to explain to you in detail what they find bad about Nigel Farage, and I gaurentee you they could not offer you any explanation.in fact some of them  might not even know who Nigel Farage is they are just expressing the view of somebody they over heard  .the moral of the story is, people don't know how to be themselves, and are incapable of forming their own view, based upon their own experience

By making such a comment ,you are also subscribing to the Poplar view of others.you probably know little,or nothing about Nigel Farage, but you just thought you would make that comment because you thought others on hear might like to hear it.Nigek Farage deserves great credit for having the balls to go against the Poplar view, and show people another alternative way

Farage has as much in common with the working-class Irish as Pope Francis did with Leo upon their meeting.

He has never claimed to identify with any of them.his agenda was to see the withdrawal of the UK  from the EU , and he achieved that in the face of massive adversely.for that he deserves great credit

Daly this is just a monkey cage filled with taxi drivers and wannabe taxi drivers flinging monkey shite at each other. To win the game ya must try get out with as little on ya as possible.

Sometimes ya get a Timmy monkey trying to put a bannana in yer ear and gets told to fuk off.I've met lads like yerself with extreme views and after a few months they stop getting out of the car to chat with everyone else out of fear of getting ridiculed. Not healthy at all being in the minority all the time.

Well that's true, but my hope, and expectation is ,that this will be brought to fruition.the fact that Nigel is back now,and actively involved, can only strengthen this desire

Maybe, but it can be fun being the target of suspicion and paranoia all the same. I'm surprised Tim hasn't revealed his true self yet...he needs to quash the doubters in my opinion.

Lippy I take the forum in the context in which you have described. however I am very passionate in expressing my views regarding anything I comment on,and sometimes to my detriment the fact is,I believe the views, and indeed the votes of taxi drivers are as reliveƱt as anyone else's,and therefore SHOULD be expressed on a slightly different note,jJohn m should be nominated for a position on DCC simply so that drivers can have a voice, and he can help to influence policy

Well Dalyer, you should try rubbing Ermy up then if you think he's a suitable candidate. Personally, I think John uses this place as a dumping ground for otherwise unlistened-to frustrations. I'd say you'd need to bung him a right few bob to get him motivated.

Well my view is,it's better to have a man on the inside who can express the collective views of the driver's ,rather then continuing to express them on a forum that can never have any bearing on how things will change

Good for you then.....why not throw your own hat into the arena? If Enda Kenny can ascend to the throne...........?The numbers viewing are increasing exponentially.
