Wen i was A yungfello I was amazed at the newsreels of the Chinese on bicycles..... Billions of them.... Now they all stuck in traffic jams..... The coal burnin... Has been replaced by a worser pollution.....

Use to make my pocket money 40 years ago trapping birds .Goldfinches ,redpoles bullies ,linnets sell them to the pet shop or down the bird market .You would have a caller bird and mist nets catch 4 or 5 at a time .I cant remember the last time i saw a cock goldie or a bluetit .Scavinger birds like pigeond gulls ,crows and maggies seem to be plentiful.
