I know corruption is rife everwhere, Octy.......why come to one of the most corrupt kips in Europe? They have to spend while they're here so the tax man gets some money back,whether it's through rent or taxis or drink and food.Same deal for all the Google/facebook knobs.It's a very expensive country to live in because of our tax system.

Park up outside Google or Facebook or Linkedin and there are very few Irish working there.But they have to spend to work here.Like us going to Vegas thinking yer gonna save money on the complimentary drink.Ya still come home broke or in debt.

I don't understand why so-called professional drivers ignore the rules of the road. Well, I guess it's down to lack of enforcement. There's no good reason that a camera couldn't be rigged up to automatically ticket offenders. The problem, for drivers who work within regulatory constraints, is that riders will come to expect them to follow the illegals and encourage them to do so... "ah, sure all taxman go that way", etc... Needless to say it will be a driver who is unfairly pressured into breaking the rules that will be pulled over and given penalty points.
