The busy Christmas season is now upon us and the demand for mytaxi is set to reach record highs.

mytaxi drivers earn more in December than any other month during the year and we’re offering an added bonus to make this Christmas even merrier.

The mytaxi Christmas Bonus!

There will be 8 bonus days over December running from 4pm - 2am on the days shown below giving you the chance to earn up to €400 in bonuses.

How does it work?

If you complete 16 jobs between the hours of 4pm - 2am on any of the bonus days shown below we will give you a €40 bonus.

If you can complete 20 jobs (only 4 more!) we will give you a €50 bonus - it's that easy!

When will my bonus be paid?

Your bonus will be paid on the following dates:

12th of December (for 7th & 8th of December)
19th of December (for 14th & 15th of December)
2nd of January (for 21st & 22nd of December)
9th of January (26th & 31st of December)

They've figured out that the lads chasing the bonuses were the lads most likely to be using the app anyway. Better off keeping their funds to compensate angry passengers.I'm sure they'll drop the commision soon to take any gains away that Flag might have made.

16 jobs in one shift that could be 80 minutes waiting time plus travelling time to the job lets say two hours working time or a score an hour .It works out you are only be paid for the time you waste covering the work .

 Work it out .How much does it cost you for your car ,Your insurance fuel ,maintainance .Average car costs 27k before interest lets say 60 a week just to own a car .Juice to earn a Grand is at least a ton, insurance average 2500 a year thats 50 a week Licences and nct is a 5 iver cleaning at least a fiver a week new tyres and service per year 1500 ..thats 240 a week before you make any coin add in tax Prsi Social charge you are paying 30% of your income before income tax add in income tax on earnings @ 10% you are paying nearly 40% of your takings on business costs .So for every 10.00 you take your peofit is 6.00 if you take a tenner on Metaxi they charge you on the Gross 10.00 @12 % = to 1.20 is actually -=to 20% of your profits .you are paying 1.20 on every 6.00 profit ..Thery are riding you like a two buck whore you just never worked it out .

I thought it warranted discussion outside of the members area, particularly given open discussion of Flag's bonus scheme.

Anywaysanall, an extra €2.50/job isn't to be sneezed at but I don't start 'till 7 or 8 in the evening so I probably won't get close. Maybe it'll entice me into an earlier start of a Saturday....
