I cover much less mytaxi work now than what I used to, not a hope would I cover 16 jobs in a shift, especially at the busiest time of year with plenty of street work.

Never saw metaxi as a viable way of working commission is to high but it is a valuable add on just run it and if a job offer you like pops up cover it Dont see why any non ambassador would bother their bollox chasing the bonus considering they shit in your mouth by allocating the good work to the chosen few .I cant remember the last time I covered 16 jobs in a week never mind a shift my average since I signed up id 4.2 jobs a week I have a 7% acceptance rate .If they dropped the ambassadors and offered nearest driver gets first refusal I might consider upping my acceptance rate .I dont turn it on monto thursday as it only offers shite work as the ambassadors have cherry picked .

My average fare is €17 pre commission.12 % of that is €2.04 giving a net fare of €14.96.
There is a €2.00 pick up charge.
The commission is on average costing me 4 cents a job.
Have you done the maths at all?

No its ambassador then priority or whatever method they use .I ws out one night with her and she hailed a metaxi .I was sitting beside her with my app turned on so in principle i was the nearest less than 1 meter and I never got the job offer .The system is to opaque they dont say how it operates and who gets fed the good work and who gets the crap .

Works along the same lines as Dispatchers do......do this and that or else you'll end up doing what nobody else wants.

Most traders make profits, VD... nearly covering related expenses wouldn't work for a lot of folk.

No you failed your maths test the two euro is earnings you are offsetting earnings against the commission ..If i earn 600 off the street i keep it all if i earn 600 off metaxi it costs me 24 in commission plus free waiting time and possible 2 yoyo backhander plus the time it takes me to get to the job .
