I did, Vik... as it turned out the brother wanted to go up to that outlet place in Banbridge so he done the driving. I bought a few shirts in the M&S discount outlet and we stopped in Newry on the way back... successfully changed the jewellery i.e. managed to pick a bracelet and a pair of earrings that she was happy with, had a bite to eat and got a Haggis, some beer and a few bottles of shower gel in Sainsbury's. Home by 18:23 and in work by 19:42.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Jaysus, he bought her a necklace and exchanged it for something else. Why would he hold off on giving half of the present to her.

She got the whole lot erm... ended up costing me a couple of extra pounds, Sterling. She mentioned that she wouldn't mind earrings to match the necklace and it turned out that they existed and were in stock but they were a bit cheaper than the necklace so a (pretty much) matching bracelet brought it up to cover what I'd already spent give or take (well give) a pound or ten. On the plus side two of the shirts I bought up in the discount outlet were reduced by stg£6 and the other by stg£12 so I can convince myself that I saved money while spending it.

Lookin forward to seein Ken and Ratty on the shopping channel!!

I have loads of Shite accumulated over the years that I am gonna put up on ebay next summer and sell fer whatever I can get fer them, none of it is of any use to me nor is it ornamental. First up will be the Ring, then the Micheal Jackson '88 ticket stub, a dozen or so old coins and a PWO Motorola Two way Walkie-Talkie with charger and whatever else I happen to find in the gaff, hopefully it will all cover my insurance bill next October.

Fer shirts it's hard to beat the Charity shops fer value and quality, granted and you need to know this, most of the items fer sale have come from dead men's home's but still you are donating to the charity by buying them. They usually retail fer about a Fiver a go and add on another 3Euro fer dry-cleaning and are usually as good as new then.
I try not to buy them anymore as I already have a wardrobe full of em but if I'm out by day and see a charity shop open with a parking space available then I will always pop in fer a sneaky peep.
