one of my door stickers is starting to come off, i was going to use strong glue but would that be too strong and end up doing more damage than good?

I took the old ones off my yoke wen it went to scrap..... It stripped most of the paint off wen I peeled it.....
If it's an owl banger wit a year or 2 left.... Glue probably not matter.... And if you need new sticker it's going cover it anyway.... Don't know if I'm helping or confusing..... I'm perpetually muddled meself these days

As Octy said it depends on the age of the car, the sticker when it comes off will destroy the paintwork.
If you only have 2 or 3 years left then glue it or use Double sided adhesive tape from Woodies.
If ya have 4 or more years left then replace the sticker as it will keep peeling.

Peeling the old one without heating (hair dryer works fine) will take the paint off. In recent discussions we found two methods of removing the residual gum (mainly around the edges) - one is to spray with WD40 and rub/gently scrape off (thanks to Hal) and the other is to use bits of the old sticker, heating as you apply (thanks to Vikkiz).
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Paint only comes off bad repairs.

Just remove it using a hairdryer on medium or high heat....and get a new one fitted for €30.
