Yet we are asked to believe they sat down and passed a written knowledge test to get a SPSV  licence.I keep saying it,the reason for a blind eye being turned is because of a fear of the immigrant council of Ireland.most politians know that to they say anything derogatory about foreigners,is to signbe their political death warrent.the mayor of Naas being a classic example a few years ago when he said he found Nigerians a little bit difficult to deal with

It's a bit more than a blind eye, DM. If I had €2.40 for every punter that told me of an immigrant driver who can't speak ENGLISH I'd be a multi millionaire. I'd be surprised if one out of every 356 immigrants has sufficient command of our native tongue to understand simple directions never mind pass an examination... yet the majority of night time taxi drivers up above in Dublin are immigrants.

For years,this has been talked about and from what i gather the authorities have said nothing to see here...the dogs...and even the cats on the street knew there was illegals...and not illegals hiding and working in kitchens of fast food outlets....working in plain sight.

My very first day as a taxi driver,I put in an 8 hour daytime shift on the ranks and looking for street hails. €42
That evening the mytaxi registration came through,and I did nearly 6 times that for the same hours on the app.

In the same day?? So you did a 16 hour shift and earned €294 which equates to €18.37 an hour. Go you
