3 bedroomed end of terrace with parking space for two cars and a seperate garage .Close to All amenities £10.400 in old money .Me mother thought I was robbed she paid £700 for her Gaff in Inchicore .Most expensive thing I ever bought was a new car ,second most expensive thing I ever bought was a second hand car .I think I have said this before  people born in the 50s 60s 70s are the luckiest generation ever born .Pre WW2 life for working class was hard but after the war until the 2000 it got easier .Now a working stiff is crucified by rents ,mortgages ,car loand ,Insurance policies .
I know some lads paying nearly as much as ourselves on our mortgage as he is on a new Van. Now in 5 years time he will own it but probably have to replace it. In 25 years times we will own our home. And he’ll still be needing to replace his van

Vicci I wonder how a driver keeps a work life balance if he is renting or buying an expensive vehicle and trying to pay a mortgage or big rent .They are comming after home owners with LPT and we will get water charges in time .Strumpet City 2020 Homelessness ,Non fixed contracts for workers and workers only earning enough to survive so they can go out and survive again tomorrow .

Conservative estimates are massive jumps in LPT to approx a grand per 100,000 in value per yr....they'll throw it out there beforehand and the sheep will all bleat with delight when it's only 500 p.a. We've seen how this works too many times with budgets. The real killer will be pay per journey on private cars......poor bastards trekking in from Carlow, Gorey and Mullingar will be late every morning when their trains and buses can't cope with the demand on the service after people start abandoning the unaffordable car. Getting home at 9 every night will soon take its toll........indentured slavery.

The reason for roll out of tinternet is obviously for monotoring things like pay per journey for road use .Your bins .Electricity .Water charges etc will allbe connected to tinternet .Direct Debit from a cashless society .You will pay tax on every cent you earn or spend ..People our age wont complain because we dont think it will effect us and young people will only click the like button and give it a thumbs up or thumbs down but wont leave the Gaff just in case they miss an SMS or a whatsapp or Snapchat from theis bestie or an emoji .I have a relation out in Dubai he is designing an intergrated life Systemas they call it .

Its a residential block where everything is intergrated you carry a card or phone or smartwatch and when your rent +electric+service Charge +water + Cleaning ++++++++++ you register for other services like tv ,phone ,internet fall due and you enter the foyet of the building the charges are deducted from your bank account by direct debit .If you dont pay or dont have funds you are automatically locked out .He says this will cut down on management company fees and guarantee investors get paid on time .

You can imagine car rental or taxi fares being included in such a service .

The "internet of things" they call it.  One more step towards A.I. domination. Forgot to mention Loyalty Cards.............you'll have to have one if you shop in Dunnes, Tesco, Supervalu ec....The Germans haven't got one....yet. My last trip to Dunnes I was asked twice why I hadn't got one as I was spending over a score in store....the girl was very eager to let her line manager hear her........

Lip  Back in the early 90s Big Dommo was getting grief off the dole they called him in and he was advised to sign off .Bridie Kinghorn worked in the dole office and told him they had a printout of all taxes he paid .They knew he had a car because he paid road tax .They knew he had left the country and returned on 10 occasions as he had paid the £3 airport tax ,now they would know you had a credit card as you pay an annual tax on it .Its amazing what the information they hold on you can be used for and usually its not for the reason they stated when they collected ot .

Revenue are not a problem just pay your dues .People in the States are wearing Fit bits and smart watches that upload everything they do and how active they are .When William Gooberman 111 .Applies for life insurance or medical insurance .Aviva or AIG will ask for his data printout to see how healthy he is and what their liabilities might be .If you dont have a Health activity data Graph or whatever they call it they will load your policy .That information can also be sold to salesmen hawking heart medicin or blood pressure medicines .Like Lip said the supermarkets want you to have a loyalty card .If you stop buying tampons  they will send you a free voucher for nicker liners paid for by the company that makes them and Dunnes will provide them with your data ,same applies if you suddenly decide to change your shopping habits and but slimline meals or milk .You will get a linda Mc Catyney voucher included with your loyalty points .They are not giving you something for nothing .If they can build up a profile of you they can pitch their goods to you .

Ithink I posted this before .About 30 yearsago a mate of mine became born again Christian .His bird asked me to go to the meeting with him .In the gaff where they were meeting the bloke whos house it was read a bit of bible then said ,In the beginning thee was the WORD and the WOrd was GOD .He interpreted this as only by speaking and debating can you reach the truth and to do this God had granted the gift of tongues .

Then he said the number of the beast shall be 666 .He interpreted this as the Devil will use numbers to control you .Now 30 years ago if you went to deal with Government they asked your name your date of birth and your mothers maiden name ,Now its your ppsi nimber .

I always remember his example .Remember there was no credit cards or mobiles back then .His example was you are meeting your mistress you tell your hen you are going somewhere else but the devil will know how much fuel you bought how many miles you drove and if you stopped all by numbers .Remember laughing me bollox off at eight blokes playing Startrek in the name of God thought they were all mad .

Now im not sure they were mad just enlightened .
