Probably best fer the intellectual brains of Octy or Horse to explain this. But all explanations welcome.
I was dropping off some empty cans and bottles at the small suburban re-cycling center in Cork on Chrimbo day, when I was done I noticed this brown paper bag with a bottle in it standing up right bang smack in the middle of the re-cycling center, being a civic minded kinda chap I went to pick it up and put it in the proper glass bin. So I pick it up, it's a full 70cl of Huzzar vodka with the seal still seeming intact, so I Snaffle it as nobody is around and stick it in the cab boot, and later on I promise it to a Taxi mate of mine (Vodka drinker) telling him exactly where it came from.
What mystifies me is Why would anyone leave a full 70cl of Huzzar vodka on the ground in a re-cycling center ?
The Taxi mate I promised the bottle to suggested that it was "Planked" and the owner was coming back fer it later, but I told him, it was not "Planked", it was in open view in the middle of the re-cycling center.
Anyone any thoughts on why this happened ?

The reason being you have no idea how much air is inside each egg therefore you can't say with any certainty which one will float first. Im doing Hangover this morning in Tommy Two Scars Gaff .Sore heads all round we demamd quiet so I suggest boiled Eggs .Big Dommo says Jesus No the sound of smashing Egg Shells would go through me head .Dont Worry Dommo I said We will boil a few eggs then place them in Vinegar from Lidil and dissolve the shells .I had two hard boiled eggs on Batch loaf Dommo had a Soft boiled one and Tommy Fell asleep under the table .

I gave the bottle to my Taxi mate last night telling him exactly where it came from and he cracked the seal saying; "Well if it was sealed, then it's good", He offered me a Score fer it but I refused it telling him that it was a found bottle and I had no use fer it.
We had a long chat about it and came to just 2 options;
Option 1; Some recovering alcoholic had been given a present of it and because all of his friends were also recovering alcoholic's he had no one to give it to and did not wish to burden his family with anything alcohol related, so he/she still having the respect fer the gargle could not face pouring it down the drain but instead left it at a can/glass recycling center where surely some other active alco would find it.
Option 2; (Similar to what Horse said), Some recovering alcoholic had a break-out then changed his/her mind,
and then the rest the same as option 1.

Personally it might of intrigued me for about 5 seconds then id just fukk it in the bin and would have forgotten about it before i left the recycling centre, inanyways hows the world of taxi driving these days?

Unfortunately both John and octy refused to accept the results, sore losers and all that. Looks like my answer to your puzzle was the most widely accepted theory too. No surprise really.

Yep, I'm still a Slut, got me motor nua branded 'n all last week. I got a Gold star this week, the first time in almost 3 months, actually got an 80 score card last week.
Hoping fer another Gold star this week to get me to Gold status fer the lean weeks that lie ahead in January.
FN is the only show in town down here with the pubs closed, I have a few private clients and take the very odd street flag down on offer but that would barely make me a Ton a week.

You've been trying (in vain) to win a slagging match with me for over 2 years now and you haven't come close even once to a win. The best you can hope for is to win ken coz he's easy. Some nights I just go out fer 2 or 3 hours just to get outta de house.
One Sunday night I went out to work fer 3 hours and made 17 quid,
