VIKTOR ORBÁN HAS conceded defeat in Hungary’s parliamentary elections, meaning the country is set to get a new leader for the first time since 2010.

This was a hugely important election for Hungary, where Orbán has led his ‘illiberal democracy’ for the past 16 years.

He conceded defeat just after 8.30pm Irish-time on Sunday night, ringing his opponent, Péter Magyar, to congratulate him on his victory. Orbán described the defeat as “painful”.

There is the Real Problem .Will be be able to get any and at what Price .

US President Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social account today (Sunday) an article outlining his options regarding the Iranian issue, including imposing a naval blockade on Iran, according to Al-Arabiya.net.

Trump wrote: “The president’s trump card if Iran does not back down: a naval blockade,” reposting a Just News report that discussed the possibility of imposing a naval blockade on Iran if talks between the two sides fail.

The newspaper report stated that “if Iran refuses to accept the final agreement offered by the United States, Trump may resort to bombing Tehran and returning it to the ‘Stone Ages’ as he threatened. Or he may simply reinstate his successful strategy of sanctions to strangle the already ailing Iranian economy, and escalate diplomatic pressure on China and India by cutting off one of their main oil supplies.”

This comes as US Vice President Jay D. Vance announced earlier on Sunday that talks with Iran had not resulted in an agreement, noting that he was leaving Islamabad after presenting the Iranians with the “final and best offer.”
All this time I realised that I must have flunked history. When I was at school we were taught about ONE Stone age. Trump has managed to pluralise it.

Anyway, nice to see the US ships move nearer to Iranian missile silos, a clever ploy ...not!

Even hitting one US ship would be a morale booster for for the Iranian government.
