I worked last night, and while the tractors were on O'Connell st, Eden Quay, and Custom House Quay, there was always a work around.

Little or no work in the town though.

There's a video on tik tok of an immigrant driver with Freenow stickers filling a kitchen bin with fuel in his boot.

I was working earlier and it was grand.

I'd say the lads doing the long shifts are concerned.

You could chance your arm and make it up  :P  "I've 2 ex-wives, a girlfriend and a mistress to support.  Why do you think I drive a taxi around the city?  I don't want to be found too easy.  It's a hard life paying for it all  O:-) "

Or show them your accounts for last year and divide by 52 weeks?
Or use the insurance companies' per diem rate as a guide if they still have one?

The kick in the goolies is that you'll have to verify your new meter with  the same NSAI who verified the Digitax meters  >:(  Will they get it right the second time?

I wonder if you'd have a claim for lost earnings against either or both the NTA or NSAI.  The NTA insisted you pick a meter from a list and the NSAI insisted you get it verified with them.  One or both of them fukked up big time and now drivers are losing money if they follow the NTA's advice to park up...

How would you verify loss of earnings ?

The NTA approved these programs so they should be taking some responsibility. Most lads would just inform the customer I hope and knock a few quid off.
