Eir are perfectly right.I remember when I was in eircom.loads of times it happened that I wouldbe called out to a fault.when id get there,more often then not id establish that the fault was in a router box belonging to a private provider,and there was nothing we could do because it wasnt down to us.it meant the customer got away with bringing us out to a fault that had nothing to do with us,the private provider got away with eircom having to establish this,and all eircom was allowed to charge was 1 penny aa a nominal fee for bringing us out.then we were instructed to issue chargable forms with a fee of 40 euro attached if we were brought out to a fault not of our making the comreg agreed to this.it was the only way eircom could recoup some money,and it willsoon made a lot of companies call their private provider before calling us.for far to long eircom has had to bear the brunt of comregs unfair rules
