There was a pub on the Viccy (Victoria) Road, called the Victoria Road café, trust me it wasn't a café. A favourite haunt of Mark Mc Manus Taggart)... There's been a Murrrrdah!

Dommo can mind himself Ill tell ya a story .every word of it is true .Im after collecting me Dole in Thomas Street about 1983 and I go for a pint in the Clock .Big Dommo is sitting at the bar and as we sip porter and tell lies a Person walks in and asks Dommo does he have the cash from the sale of goods .Dommo says I have but you are getting fuck all of it ."What the fuck do you mean "asks the Person Dommo says you returned last night to the premises with your brother and aquired more goods and sold them .If you were caught you would of given me up but I got fuck all out of your stroke now Fuck off .

Person leaves the pub and returns with a gun walks up to Big Dommo and threatens to shoot him .Dommo says "Look its a gun what you going to do with that shoot me .If you do shoot you better fucking kill me ,if you dont Ill come out of Hospital and Kill you stone dead .If you kill me my family or mates will come looking for you or the Garda either way you use that gun your a fucking deadman ."Then Dommo gave Person a clap in the mouth and told him he was a fucking loser and to fuck off home .Persons hand started to shake and the tears rolled down his face Dommo had called his bluff and he knew it .I was sitting beside Big Dommo as all of this happened after person left I went into the Jacks and took off me Jocks as I had Shit meself .If Dommo got done I was a Witness who knew person and I was for it as well .I still dont know if the Gun was real I suspect it wasent but as you asked would Big Dommo be at home in some dingy kip in Glasgow You bet he would .

Had the pleasure of knowing a great guy from Glasgow when I worked in London as a Chef.........he would give you the last penny in his pocket.......we travelled up several times and I was going to take a job there but did not.......City Centre is beautiful but the burbs are absolute dives....extreme poverty far worse than the biggest kips in Dublin....I've been back twice since....your man was a True Blue by the way....Rangers forever.
