Heres that car John,Freenow are now in charge The Lower mount street staff car.Anyway bottomline now is that freenow decide what happens in Taxi industry 100%.They can give free taxis and discounted taxis and if you dont like it move on as there another fool to join.Im defiantly looking at other options now in employment .Im not doing another recession in a taxi as imagine the thieving from other drivers on jobs on street and crashes ,fighting for fares .Hardtimes ahead but not in a taxi for me.

John alot of drivers know nothing else except freenow.They are FREENOW trained soldiers and most dont speak much english. god love them. Its just the facts of it.Daimler AG are here to stay and there roots are to deep.I tried to talk to a freenow driver in town like talking to a computer robot with broken english ,The frontline Freenow workers can't be broken as trained to the highest standards

If these creatures really wnted to help the HSE staff and  the Drivers who are out working  and get a little positive P.R. then all they need to do is this ..
Prioritise  "Key Workers " on the app by offering  these Jobs  Commission Free therby encouraging drivers to take these jobs . Suggest to the  driver that he might like to give a personal discount  of this 15 percent to the same  passengers  ..
there is something for everyone there .
I'm no marketing expert and I thought of this  So you can be sure that they did also  and just decided against it .

It's FOMO.or fear of missing out. The psychology being, if 87% are in favour then drivers will opt in.

They will never print the full survey, no more than old fashioned cab companies would allow drivers to see the secret arrangements regarding discounts they offer account customers and bribes/ hospitality fees etc.

The Freenow Masters are sitting at home and hit the launch botton.Now drivers are effectively working for free.Let me tell you now, when Virus dies off the World is in recession and Freenow will at a minimum will give passengers 25% of taxifares plus there 15% commission.Look at the free advertising they getting from this!!! and all at the drivers expense.The drivers made them into this so its the drivers fault.I can see other apps following like justeat and deliveroo.Then the New Breadvan fleet will be put to NTA.The thing that annoys me in that article is that drivers clean there cars all the time and door handles.I doubt it .

Drivers are free to reject or accept the medical jobs as they wish. it's a "thank you for the front line staff in this time of crisis, free now did a survey via the app and drivers overwhelmingly voted to offer some sort of discount to this cohort of society.
I'm not sure where Taxi drivers get their crystal balls and are able to foretell the future, but if discounting is required to get this business back on it's feet post Virus then so be it, if not they won't, I've discovered the only way I can compete as a sole trader against the might of the big dispatcher is to offer the commission I would be paying them in the form of a discount and I couldn't give a flying fuck what my competitor Taxidriver types think about that.

It was one of the Freenow IT geeks ,that put it up, and got approval from Germany.Like the plastic roofing that protects you from virus stunt, in your car which is illegal as modification of the vehicle against NTA rules ,but hey freenow are the NTA, and control its taxi division.Freenow are ruthless and will do everything to succeed and free advertising at drivers expense is there game.

Some lads could make drinking water complicated .All FN had to do was offer all their branded Ambassadors a grand a week to cover all the HSE work over  their average shifts if they got 200 drivers its only 200K a week for ten weeks only two million chump change .Then all the drivers who got infected could sue them for putting them in peril 25% of all infections are among health workers ,why do you think they are not confining certain drivers to HSE work only .That would mean traceability and you could point to their HSE policy for your infection .I wonder how the little girl working in the Centra serving food would feel if she knew the passenger who just alighted was wearing surgical scrubs and worked in a health facility .

Only the start as same as Ebbs did in recession with 8202020 but with base fee and account administration costs even used to charge €1.50 for a account book and €115 base fee.So now Germans are in charge they doing the same with free advertising.Think all freenow drivers need to just keep chin up and do the work and support what they created.Freenow are here to make money.Maybe now more ice-cream vans and coffee and sambos will ease the pain for there drivers.They should email Headquarters and ask for a chipper van as they be hungry doing all that medical work.
