You can earn up to €480 gross through self-employment over a four-week period and retain your full COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment
You can read that any way you like ....but it does not make any reference to €480 per Calender month as jonno already mentioned.
What about running costs
They're included in the 480 as all expenses/layouts etc have always been. It's no different than any other given year, except that under the current circumstances roughly 25% of your earning potential has a ceiling and the other 75% is covid donations.
Say across the first four weeks you pocket exactly 480. If this plague were to run on for a full year and Leo (not Meehawl) kept the status quo for the self employed cos he's great so he is (ie he let us keep earning the 480), that means your total annual earnings are as follows, including the covid coin:
(13x480)+(52x350)= €24,440 gross profit to be declared and processed for Pathcal O'Donoghue. He'th great ath well, tho he ith.
