Everything will be grand. Many of us won't want to sign off the PUP until we're sure there is enough work.So there will be a gradual return and before ya know it we will be complaining about the traffic again.

Remember there was just as much moaning and crying on here before the pandemic(mostly Erm).At least this time the government allowed us to collect the PUP. Realisically unless it's chopped completely I won't be returning but I'll be keeping an eye on things and I'll renew my plate for now.The prospect of earning 120 a week after expenses doesn't appeal at all.

I know my missus has been spending her petrol money on online shopping.....i was thinking of charging her a euro for every delivery i pick up at the front door and bring it to her in her workspace....oh and starting her car and bringing it for drives to keep it running....had to jump-start it twice.

Re the pubs.  I can still see people going to the pubs, even if it's just to get out of the house.  Not everyone has a house has nice as yours (  :P ) and it will have felt like a jail cell for the past 14 months.  People will pay anything to get out for a few hours.

It's like the cinema.  Who goes for the movie?  It's, what, €70 or €80 for a family to go to the cinema nowadays.  if it shuts the kids up for an hour or two, parents are happy to pay it.

They will at first but like getting married the novelty wears off after a while .Paggo was on the box squirming when asked about paying back the covid coin .Porter is going up they will increase the duty and say its a health issue same with smokes and fuel .Brexit will have an effect and just plain old greed Publicans, hotels, restaurants will price themselves out of the market trying to recoup losses .I remember the late 70s early 80s ques a few hundred long waiting in Werbough Street and Gardner Street to sign on .My estimate is at least 17% unemployment this time next year and thats not good for any business except the drug dealers .Think the Covid Crisis has masked a lot of other issues .Deliveroo has moved people from restaurant tables to their gaff table with food to the door ,every shop except the Church sells Porter .Netflix is the new cinema .Even Zoom means you no longer need to visit your granny you can talk to her on a tablet .Gyms and Coffee Shops due to reopen so what 3.80 for a cup of coffee and 50 a month for a gym .Paddy wont pay that and the foreign low paid workers dont have the money as they dont have jobs .This time round young Irish kids cant go to england for work they are as fucked as we are the States and Australia dont want us .Leo ,Mick from Cork and Mary from the Navan Road will be trowing around the keys to the Taoiseachs office quicker than a handfull of steaming shite when this Covid Curtain is gone and people realise how fucked up things are .In the 80s there was a sort of deal with the Welfare they signed fellas over 55 on to illness benefit to doctor the unemployment figures but it also meant that older lads would not be competing with youngfellas for jobs afraid to lose their money .You know my opinion of Leo he is a Traitor and a fuckwit .He broke with the EU and did a side deal with Boros that will lead to trouble and killings in the North that he will have to live with and the EU will beat the shit out of us and our tax fiddle as punishment .In mondays New York Times Professor Joe Stiglits a Nobel Economist called out Ireland as a tax haven ,the Yanks are tired of their big companies fiddling their taxes and the Likes of Ireland operating as money mules .I think Irish American President Joe Biden will be like every other irish man Irelands biggest enemy .History of this country is more damage done to the Irish by the Irish than anybody else .Here is a reality check acording to the IMF Ireland is the most indepted country per capita in the world .Put simply every Irish citizen owes the international lenders a pile of coin and Tax is the only way to repay .

We lived in a false economy for the last 30 years eating out two or three cars per household .Telly in every room phone in every pocket minimum wage under a tenner an hour ,we have been playing pass the parcel but the music is going to stop and this and the next and the generation after them will have to pick up the bill .Said it before anybody born between 1950 and 1980 in Ireland were the luckiest people ever born on this Island we were the golden generation .

LOOK AT THIS BOLLOXOLOGY   HOW CAN YOU RUN A BUSINESS

Taoiseach Micheál Martin said the move to allow 50 people at wedding ceromonies was to remain consistent with the number allowed to attend religious services.

Under new Government guidelines set to be implemented on May 10, up to 50 people could attend a wedding service, both civil and religious.

However, only six people can attend an indoor reception and 15 people can attend an outdoor reception. In addition, 50 people will also be permitted to go to a religious service.

Speaking on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland today, Mr Martin addressed this discrepancy, saying that large gatherings at weddings have always been a safety concern.

“It’s very tough - the idea of the service is to be consistent,” he said. “If we have 50 at religious services generally, you then will have an anomaly if you want to allow 50 at the wedding services, be it religious or non-religious. Or indeed at the funerals and that.

If he did how many can attend his funeral and can they go to his wake .If only 6 are allowed in doors will he have to carry his own coffin into the church .Do herses have a screen between the driver and the box .Will the Greens ban cremation due to emissions .Which undertaker will be the first with an electric hearse to try corner the Nut munchers market .If you have a Bagpiper at your funeral is that an outdoor concert and which limits apply now .

I turned off the press breifing yesterday after 2 minutes.Nothing has changed. They're all guidelines.People just want to know when the pubs are opening up and when the PUP will be fazed out.Until then go back to sleep.

IDEA .What if we start our own church and the Rat becomes the Bishop and the rest of us become ordained ministers .Now we ring Louie Fitzgerald and Paris Hiltons Grandad and we say look lads you know how you can have 50 at a Religious event !Well for a fee we will attend your hotel and sit at the tables with up to 50 guests and we will say grace that way the eating and drinking becomes a religious enactment of the Miracle where Jesus fed the Multitude with just a modern menu and the changing of water into wine will be reenacted by watering the gargle  so by hiring us the event has become a religious event as well as a knees up .Hal can play the drums Ill sing and Dollyer can strum a few strings for the dancing later on before everybody goes to bed and we can re enact the raising of Lazarus the next morning by knocking on the Doors to wake them up .Ken can do that ..We could charge a few grand for our holy service Im sure the Church and the priest get a dropsey off the Bride and Groom .
