There hasn't been a bit of a barney around here in ages. Was getting a bit boring tbh. Nice one lads!

Also if anyone is looking for an alternative to sumup I use cabapp and have not had any problems yet.
Would you ever Fook off with that dinosaur cab-app yoke, astronomical fees and needs to be charged every few days !
Bollocks on that !!

Astronomical fees? Jasus you're one hungry cnut Ken. It's 2.67 poxy per cent.  Or 2 euros 67 cent per 100 euro ya greedy bastid.  I wouldn't mind but 9 times out of 10 the customer gives a tip on top which covers the fee ya selfish bollox!
To add as your in the mood fer a barney Horse, the only reason you stick with cab-app is because you are both too lazy and too stoopid to change over to a better device, with sum-up you would halve your commission rate to 1.39% and the device only needs to be charged every 3 months....not every 3 days !!

As your from Fookin Tallaght I'll give ya a pass on the stoopid issue, but not on the laziness !

Hardly greedy !  I struggle to make my target of 30 hours work per week.
Looking back over past figures I have only made that work target twice in the last 15 weeks.

Yep !
Only 1.42% commission with sumup, and Circle K 4c off per liter, half price car washes. FN ambassador program gets me priority work, did I mention that FN paid the the €86.10 fer my last reseal or the €200 Circle K voucher or the constant FN Bobo's on offer.

Why bother to fix something that ain't broken...
Sum up works just fine fer me (1.42% commission) paid within a few days,
the card reader lives in the center consul and takes usually less than a minute to process a card.

Why fix what is not broken ?

I've been trying to figure out why Sumup have shoved this down our throats without any finesse.  And it seems to me that they're trying to steal business customers with 1,000's going through their accounts from the traditional banks.  Previously, money went direct from Sumup to client bank account.  Now it goes from Sumup to Sumup Mastercard and we have to take another step to get the money into our bank account.  Sumup must be hoping bigger customers will make the Sumup Mastercard their default bank account.  If so, it's free for now but fees will definitely be coming and they'll also be forced down our throats!

So you read your business emails because you don't want to hear about them secondhand on here.  Yet you come here for advice.
.......I dont waste my time reading E mails I get 100 of them .......
So do I and I seldom read any of them, except the ones that relate directly to the business that I am employed in. I would rather read those emails myself than hear about them second hand on here.

RC's advice wasn't too definitive on the pros & cons of the mastercard - he just said he didn't want another mastercard.
No. I'm OK waiting for a few days. I don't do much card work or much work at all, to be honest... and I don't need another Mastercard.

This change was a major change from Sumup and auto enrolling every single customer with a new debit card is hardly good business practice.  And the opt-out info was well hidden down the bottom.  There should have been several emails like a countdown and also emphasizing how to out-out if we wanted.  I don't see how this benefits anyone except Sumup themselves.  Alternatively they should have given these mastercards to NEW customers and see how it worked out over a couple of months before forcing it down our throats.
Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.

Once again Ken has to remind everybody that he's a licky lacky piece of shit. Stop advertising for them shysters Ken fook sake.  We don't care if you get twopence off yer juice or a cheap scaldy car wash.  You've just proved my point that you're a cheap skate piece of dirt.

I think sumup take 1.69% from ever transaction. They used to take 2.75% but changed this during the pandemic. They guy I was talking to this morning said he cancelled the card so not sure what the story is now. I took a lot of card payments over the weekend unfortunately.
