" Who cares "  is rite johnny .....i doubt any one on here keeps property that  dorsnt belong to them .....in fact I'm sure so it's nottin to worry bout ......
Unlike the pigs who have emptied the cash  proceeds of crime   from the station safe several.times all over the country  an deported  immigrant back home after robbin ther gold an money an savins ......
The very same pigs probly who are battering grannies down the bog  outside hotels an floodin the country wit illegal immigrants on the lie
To fill jobs  that  are ironically now bean lost all over the country because of the demise of small businesses cause of the lack of tourist accommodation an a foreigner in charge hell bent ( pardon the pun) on the complete destruction of the economy and  all things irish
I tink we hav enough to be worrying bout than  a n9kia found in the back seat

I'm open to correction but I think it was the FN app & not the FN staff that gave her your number.  I think it's a flaw that our number stays on the app long after the job is over.  But for us, we cannot see their number the second the job is over.  But, like I said, I could be wrong.

Were taxi drivers not the only people in the State who somebody could pay the Taxithingey and get all your personal details .Was that not included in the review or has that changed under GDPR?

A few times I have got calls from people saying I was in your taxi last night and I ldropped my phone in it.

I say I wasn't working last night. Oh.

Then they try to explain who dropped them home.
Rarely I might ask can you describe the taxi or driver? All you get is it was a man in his 60s....I think rofl

Make and colour of the taxi? Don't know.

In my experience I have had  calls from clients, but via the intermediate land line number which, as mentioned, stays open for at least 24 hours after the job is completed, and it may be that number via which FN advise clients to make contact.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.

That's about all the info myself and Rats got from the fella came on here years back looking fer his driver as he had left an expensive item in the cab, he told us he got the cab in Dublin and the male driver told him he lived in Cavan, and he thought it was a saloon car but didn't know colour or make or race of the driver.
That is all the info we got, but between myself and Ratcatcher we found the driver fer him and the Fooker never came back to say Thanks !

Is it such a Big Deal 42 ??

The last time FN emailed me about a lost item, I did find it and emailed them back, then they asked could they pass my number on to the customer, to which I agreed, he called that evening and gave me €20 worth of lotto scratch cards. Won nothing tho !!

I asked a Question here and nobody replied .Where is Bubba ? You find stuff it is not your stuff LEGALLY you must try to return it .We have the Garda dropp offs .But the Question I asked was what is our Legal requirement ? To drop it off as soon as we find it ?
Drop it off the next time we pass By
Drop if off when ever you feel like it .

There is a law of Larcny thru finding .If you do not make a reasonable effort to reunite the owner with the goods .In fact the Onus might legally be on you as the Finder to return the Goods to the owner at your expense as you do not own the goods .

If you get a REWARD for return that is down to the Customer .I once returned 980 euro in Cash to a Man who dropped it in the Car at Heuston Iran after him and he asked me to wait I thought I was going to get a small reward but he was checking it was all there .I found a Phone about a week after it was lost it belonged to a garda I returned it to my local station under his instruction and he sent me a 50 euro one for all voucher .

Botton line if you find anything in your car you must legally return it .It is not yours .

I reckon it's 3 days to lodge lost property into a Garda station.  If you didn't hand it in & they could prove it, I'd imagine it's an standard taxi fine (e.g., €80?) rather than larceny.
