I finished up on Fri night and I won't be back working till Wednesday, going to Kilmore Quay on Tuesday to do a bit of fishing.

Are ya going fer Shark ?

Na, too early in the year for the blues but give it another six weeks or so and they should be around, going to try for some cod or smoothounds or maybe even a tope but either way it will be nice to get out.

Best of Luck with it, post up a few photo's if'n ya catch anything.

I'm half afraid to ask, but what's a Smoothound ?
I really hope it is a type of Fish !

Me all taxi policy’s had gone up 20% this year. After a while he agreed to do it for €1990.

I THINK that if ya call in to their office in person and ask fer a discount you will get it
easier in person rather that dealing with them over the phone, I THINK !
Anyway that is what I do and it seem's to work fer me.

Well, he wasn't telling you!
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Try AXA in person, it might be a tad cheaper, but in general that is what you will have to pay.
I'm in the same boat meself, just Suck it up, it ain't gonna change !

Be a whole lot more if'n ya get a claim against ya, and I mean a WHOLE LOT MORE !
Believe it or not Paul, you like me are in the Lucky Boat !

Smccartn says he got it down to 1990,from 2350,by going into them,so it might be worth a try

It is with axa as well... no claims points, I actually have a free lifetime
Protected bonus as I was claim free for ten years. I still believe they are charging
Me for it but he denied they were.  I find if you go in in person to swords it all depends
Which person you get, most of them will just say take it or leave it, they know I would be mad
To leave them with the as they say (free) lifetime protected bonus...  hopefully in time there might
Be more competition...

Had a chap going to the Airport today who said his immigrant Addision lee driver in the Uk drove straight into a stationary vehicle last year.He thinks yer man fell asleep at the wheel as there was no attempt at braking.Anyway his compensation was capped at 4000 for a shoulder injury and he has been a little nervous since in cabs.If that accident happened here he'd have gotten much more compo.Kinda makes ya wonder if we're getting fleeced because our compo payments are too generous.Maybe the insurance companies aren't crying wolf.

What made it worse was Addison lee sent him the same driver three months later. His confidence in Addison lee hasn't been great since. The driver was an immigrant which made me feel superior for about five minutes..
