Mate of mine who drives a Mercedes diesel says Toyota had to build the hybrids because their engineers weren't as smart as the German Engineers.Thick fuks them Japs.Must be all the radiation..

John.... New or second hand doesn't matter..... I got a new one but on account of me OCD I can't sit in antin that some other smelly c..t was sittin.... Be like ridin another mans mot.....

I've never bought new, always a second hand car that will do me for 3 years.
I only done 87000 last year

A 5 year old Prius every 5 years. Cost around 9k on donedeal
Prius holds its value very well indeed you will get 4k for your
10 year old prius, so really a 5 year old will cost only 5k net.
Huge savings in maintenance alone would make the Prius pay for itself
Add fuel savings and peace of mind and you will be a happier healthier man
Probably the only main worry for the Prius is the Battery, but they rarely bring
trouble before 200k miles and even if they do, a second hand one on ebay is
around 500 euros and its so easy to put in, or Merc. can recondition yours for
less(mates rates anall)

Back when my battery went I couldn't source a decent used pack.All the ones I found in the breakers yards were dead.Hopefully the yards have copped on that they need to be trickle charged to keep them alive every few months.
