my next car is gonna be another avensis.
the problem with the 'sissy is that they're very hard to get in automatic.
it must be 50:1 manual to automatic ratio in ireland.

I know STC but they go extra cheap because they were a taxi.My car is better maintained than most so if you got something cheap it could be worth a gamble.

From what I'm hearing secondhand motors aren't shifting unless they're keenly priced because of the COVID shite so you could offer a lot less than asking and still get it.

2 Years left on my nearly new 07 Avensis , will wait and see what the industry lands us with in that time

Not really a Ford lover....the missus drives an 07 Focus(from new).....over the last five years....only that i have access to a lift....it would have cost a fortune to repair...from some minor things can could be done on the driveway to replacing rear axle bushes(absolute pig of a job)......welding exhaust mounts(Fords don't do rust well)....hub bearings and plenty of other stuff i can't be arsed rrying to remember.

Yeah Hal I've read that about Fords but they're lovely..Next car I buy has to have double glazed driver windows. The only thing I don't like about my banger is the road noise.

Used to be a time you could only get double glazing on fancy motors like lexuses/Mercs but now they're in the new Leaf and I believe the gen 4 Prius too.

I drove over to the Cliffs of Moher a few weeks ago and I wished I brought me ear plugs.Could barely hear the radio.

It's said a huge percentage of road noise is down to the tyres

Yeah Roy I've read that and I've got Bridgestones on it but they wouldn't be the fancy ones.Maybe I'll put new newer ones on.It will be gone in March anyway.

Most of the time it's around they city so not as noticeable. If it had a diesel engine I'd never notice the road noise!.

Is she petrol or diesel?
Told ya before, Diesel.

Alzheimers setting in, are you out long?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
