^^^^Daly as stupid as it seems we have day drivers earning night time money by working the app.No pikeys, very few drunks or coke heads, no pukers or angry muppets to work with. It's very tempting.

There was, JM. On my first week with the firm I input all my tips not expecting them to be subject to commission... once I found out they were I stopped. There was no Toll input box, though.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

What’s the story with ye using the M50 on a mytaxi job ?
Do mytaxi take commission on the price of the Toll if the job is on account

No, tolls are exempt from commission yet tips aren't!

Have you a place to enter the toll on the  final price ?
Don’t think I can enter a toll on the app.

Honestly I could not be more serious. I dont knowaccept how you fellas reckon you makehave more by being aligned.just try it for one week .turn off your app,or radio, and give an honest report at the end of it
My very first day as a taxi driver,I put in an 8 hour daytime shift on the ranks and looking for street hails. €42
That evening the mytaxi registration came through, and I did nearly 6 times that for the same hours on the app.

It's a blue button right under where you type in the fare.

Vandriver you said you did that on your very first day ? Think how many more drivers have joined mytaxi since then.its obvious that the pot is a lot smaller now.the problem I have with the sneakey way mytaxi, and the cunt radio companies work is,they are both trying to make it compulsary for drivers to align with them.the Government would love that to,so they are pushing an open door.I think its important that the independent drivers sent them a message that there will be no alignment .in other words we want to remain self employed, and not join the ranks of supposedly self employed who like being told what to do,and how to run our business

There could be 180 less working for mytaxi in due course... I wonder if any of the immigrants that do the wireless advertisements are caught up in the illicit licence scandal.

Its fukking morally wrong of those pricks to want to tax your tips.im sure when people give a tip, they give it with the intention of it being a kind of thank you.they dont expect the Hungary cunts in kildare st want a peice of the action,in sure they would think  twice about it otherwise
Is it also morally wrong for MTaxi to take 12% of any tips that are processed via Credit Card payers ?

On a serious note ,it bares out what I have always said, there is no proper vetting procedure.I have always wondered how the fukk could people, who in some cases cannot even speak English possibly pass the. test I have a very interesting letter from Charlie Flannagan when I raised this question some time ago. His reply is laughable and here it is.I am informed by the Garda authoritiesthat all applicants for SPSV licences including foreign nationals are thoroughly vetted.I am furthet advisedthat the vetting process includes the following systems and agencies.the Garda PULSE system, revenue on line service, the national transport authority, the Garda national immigration bureau's system and and other body deemed to be of assistance all foreign nationals are required toprovide a police certificate of character from their country of origin before their application can proceed.if an applicant is deemed a suitable person, they are issued with an SPSV licence
Signed Charlie Flanagan
Its a pack of fukking lies, they do not have to provide, such docs

It's mad... there's no way anyone born outside Dublin could pass the current test introduced by that mean and nasty lady, Kathleen Doyle.
