Seemingly, as it was explained to me by a black customer in the cab one night, those black ladies with the very peculiar large shaped buttocks are West African RURAL women or 'Country girls' as the man stated.

......... Nigeria is the biggest producer/consumer of the black stuff in the world.
I take it that your talking Guinness rather than Oil ? I did a lorra research on Nigeria whilst writing the tale "Holidays in Lagos" and a lot of what I found was quite disturbing, while the country is actually Oil rich the vast majority of the spoils go to the Super rich 5% of the Nigerian population with the remaining 95% of the population left to live in squalor and poverty.
'Goodluck Jonathon' from that tale is not a made up character, he was the president at the time with all his Gold and designer suits and top end cars and his own people feeding themselves from dump sites while sniffing glue all day. Terrible place.

Absolutely disgusting. Great the way we all got brown envelopes from our natural gas sellout... oh wait, that was just the politicians.

The enlarged buttocks thing is not confined to Africa at all.....anyone watching "Power" on Netflix would know it's very prevalent in America amongst the rapper/hustler cliques. Several ladies here in Dublin have had the implants done.

To be fair, they do a lot of the work our own won't do... buses/taxis/luaseyes/dorts/trains/etc don't drive themselves, yet... houses/offices/etc don't clean themselves, yet... Dunnes Stores customers don't serve themselves, yet... pubs/fast food restaurants/shops/warehouses/data centres/etc need security men... hospitals need doctors, nurses, porters, security, cleaning, etc... etc... and they have helped enrich our culture.

Glad someone else knows about the missing pension and reserve fund money. Some lads out there still think they're retiring from drudgery and indentured slavery soon.....

I just say it as I see it, Octy. Economic migrants are a necessity for our economy to grow. People who do menial jobs generally do them so their childers don't have to so the relevant jobs need to be done by a lower working class going forward i.e. immigrants. First generation immigrants are no different in that regard, many of their childers will get good educations and pursue professional careers. UK farmers are already looking out their windows at fields full of crops with nobody to pick them... and that's before brexit.

You can't halt progress because you're afraid of what a very small minority may or may not do. Religious fundementalism of one kind or another has been around since the beginning of time but gets watered down as civilized societies evolve. We've no shortage of "no go ghettos" to tackle right now without worrying about those that may or may not develop going forward. I was dragged up in Coolock, for example... as a man said to me recently, you'd want a bullet proof 4x4 to bring kids to schools in that area these days... and there's areas of West Dublin (Tallaght) that Tesco and Dominos Pizza won't go into... these are all home grown problems, brought about by a lack of parental control, a booming drugs trade and zero Garda intervention.
