I've to do blood tests every 3 months now. My potassium levels are high so the doc tells me. That and gout. Could be a kidney thing he thinks. Up until a couple of years ago I hadn't seen a doctor in years. It all goes wrong in your 50's it seems.
Stay away from the Kounts unless your on Death's Door !

Always remember it's the pharma companies that pay fer the Doc's golfing holidays !!
(As has been proven in a court of law).

I have being very slow to post this before because of the amount of Lovely Taxi MATES on here who just slate anything and everything.

Both myself and a good mate of mine are both in our late Fifties and we both struggle a tad with stairs and walking, Etc. As in you will hear us coming a long time before you see us !

When getting my 4th Covid jab last year my vaccinator (a proper lovely lady) suggested to me

CORRECTED your POSt Belker  for YOU………

but I am sure you were not talking abou me or Octy  as for the other IDIOTS…I dont know why they bother to post .,like you said.

I'm lying in hospital as I type with a drip stuck in my arm since last night. My renal function is not great they say and I'm shitting blood which means internal bleeding somewhere.  Tomorrow they go in with cameras and the like. I haven't been overnight in hospital in over 40 years. Can't say I'm a fan. So yea, get yourselves checked.

Best of luck for a good outcome.

Hope everything works out Pony .If your health is bad you might qualify for a Doctor Visit only card .This gives you free visits to the Doc .I told ALL of you to apply during The Great Cough as your reduced earnings would of qualified you .If you pay for your own Tablets anything over 80 a month can be reclaimed apply for a Drugs Payment Scheme card .

Cheers folks. It all started last Wednesday with me feeling extremely poorly.  I thought I maybe had covid. Stayed in bed for 3 days and felt fine on the Saturday so went out working for a few hours. Then all of a sudden I started seeing stars and was nearly passing out behind the wheel. Made it home and had to run to the jax which resulted in a dose of blood diarrhea.  Fell into bed and woke up yesterday morning barely able to stand. More blood started pouring out on the jax so said to the misses I need to go to hospital.  Jumped in the shower and I had to go down on all fours because I thought I'd hit the deck. Got to hospital, they took bloods and it turned out I was badly dehydrated with some levels being off indicating internal bleeding, which I already knew. My renal function is not great either but could be down to dehydration,  I'll know more tomorrow.  I feel a lot better now but they've to run tests and put cameras in my stomach so could be here a while. Who would've thought not drinking enough water could bring on such problems.  So my advice is get lots and lots of it into you.

35 years ago (33)that was me --working my ass off and one night I honked but thought nothing of it ,after a few days felt shit crapping all around me --into Jervis St which was on a par with Mountjoy but no waiting in A and E  them days --instant blood transfusions --thay reckoned I had lost 7 pits of blood tru my ass as a results of my honking days earlier-this had nicked my stomach ---they fed me liquid Tagamet to heal the nick and I left there after a week a stone lighter but lived on Tagamet for years after --but all was clear in finish on minding diet --which went out the window when I split up with Mother of my kids --now I have a fucked up liver !!!!
Moral of story Horse you will survive with care--tomorrow I do the Pagan thing  and light candles in local Church for this weeks problems --so fair weather Horse --The Good Lord loves a Sinner !
