I got the drug payment card John. I've to pay the first 80 and they pay the rest. My meds only came to 69 euro though so it's not really saving me anything yet.

What it does is Prove you have an ongoing need for medication and on your meger earnings like my own you should get a doctor only Visit card to cover the Costs of going to the Doc for your perscriptions .Apply for a Full medical Card .You will not get one but they should give you a Doctor Visit card .Especially with your Low Pay .

I doubt most lads on here will bother but for 60 notes you can get an MOT for yourself .You would spend that money on the car but not yourself .I hadnt been to a Doctor in over 40 years until our kid got me a voucher for a doctor visit off the internet for me for Christmas a few years ago .Blood Pressure is the Silent killer lack of exercise and un healthy eating and Stress of having Razor Murphy and Jenny the Tart roaring at you from the back seat .Go to your own family doc if you have one or two Doctors in Rathmines Dr Rafter or George across from the Lidil will look at you for cash .Ring and make an appointment .

It's been a month since I was in hospital and still no sign of a bill. Looks like I won't have to pay anything at this stage. That's not a bad service eh. No medical card,  no insurance and still no bill.

You pay VAT on almost everything you buy and you pay PRSI and tax every year. You paid for it already even if you didn't get a specific invoice.
