Believe it or not,I did not contact him I dont know where he got my email address,or how he knew I was a taxi driver.I never even heard of Paul Donnelly

Thats very strange , I would get back to him and ask as to how he got your email address.
only thing I can think of is ,a few weeks ago ,a shinner TD was hosting a question and answer session, and I wanted to ask why it was not ok for driving testers to work, but it was ok for taxis to work.did they consider our lives. To be less important.I assume my email address was passed on by one of his colleagues

They probably bumped into each other in the Armalite and molotov Social Club after the Funeral in Belfast .I bet Mary Lou and yer one O Neill got up in the Karaoke and sang Its Raining Men .

To be fair NTA have been quite good to us facilitating suspensions and such like. Their staff even rang me from their own homes a couple of times to see if I wanted new stickers or to continue my plate suspension... although they didn't ring last month, not sure why but they sent an email with a reply required to continue the suspension.

The Shinners taxi policy is laughable. They wanted to replace Garda vetting with a private regime similar to that used by the PSA which allows all immigrants sign a declaration where their history is unverifiable... and they wanted to sack white Irish men on foot of convictions handed down by the British judiciary, the same judiciary that convicted the Birmingham Six and the Guilford Four... the African immigrant vote is all they're after. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire!
+1 or at least I trust wat you say as undeniable ratti

Credit where credit is due. You can't fault their efforts in difficult circumstances.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

According to this report https://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/ireland/pandemic-unemployment-payment-to-end-by-christmas-1010993.html  the payment will be reduced in increments from August 10 to December 25 (Christmas?) from the €350 to €203, therefore those on €203 now will stay on it and I assume the €203 will continue beyond that date .... for those that need it.

Out working update: today so far and yesterday have been crap, whilst it's more daily than the €70 I'd get on the PUP ... it's only barely (i'm reckoning on needing circa €95 daily to clear €70)

Last week was fine (nowt spectacular, but definitely more than PUP  by a reasonable margin)

I rarely exceed 20 hours a week, I doubt I'd cover my PUP on that...
