He should be able to do that in seconds...anytime i ask my accountant she's back to me in minutes
Maybe arrange to get your own log in to the ROS website or a MyGov.ie account.

It was.

just on this 1000 euro grant.

Rate of payment
Funding will be awarded for eligible costs up to a maximum of €1,000.

Grants will be awarded on costs related to reopening your business, including:

safety measures
business advice or mentoring
repairs
fuel
wages
Normal business costs are not generally included.

I reckon all my expenses are normal business costs. the repairs would of had to be done anyway, i would have needed diesel, tyres. the accountant fees.
You might have needed repairs, tyres etc anyway, granted.
But if you hadn't the dough to get them sorted because you were busted over the covid thing, then you get it through the grant. That's what it's for imo.
I don't think they will be overly picky with this thing (hopefully). Twelve mill allocated to it is a drop of piss in the context of what they have been chucking around lately. They don't want them taxi fellas going on Johhhhhh Dafffffy with tales of woe and persecution...

what if you do have the money for it?  They might not be too picky about this grant, they shouldnt be really as there are cafes/restaurants/hotels who have never been as busy with staycations, and the government are paying most of the staffs wages.
I think the general view they are taking (I'm probably completely wrong lol) is that this is not a normal payment in normal times, just like the pup was introduced to bail people out in a hurry. One thing we have to write on the form is the nature of our business. When they see"taxi" that should be enough in itself for them to throw the grand our way.

hopefully you are right. do you know the best way to get your cro reg number and tax clearance access number? i don't want to have to ask my accountant as it will take about 10 calls and and few emails to get an answer from him.
This is a shot of what you get on your MyGov account....

That cro shouldn't apply to us I think. We're not companies. Do you have a MyGov account? You can get your tcan there

I registered a business name, maybe the cro reg number has something to do with that.

€70 on every €350 received. That will give some lads the biggest tax bill they have ever paid.
