Best of luck with the recovery Dalymount.I know this might be a stupid question but what's so great about the Store street rank at 5am?Is there lots  of Airport work from there?I wouldn't park there at 5pm meself.I reckon the cops were watching them out the window when they released them but wouldn't leave the station without backup.Should be plenty CCTV around there too.

Not a rank I'd hang around either, whatever comes out of a cop shop at that hour is only trouble.

Inanyways I don't understand why you won't press charges against these tramps, and as I said take a few days off  and relax.

Personally I would have pressed charges DM, but then again I am sitting at home with the heater on and not like you sitting at home with a bruised body. I just hate to see the knacker bitches get away with it all.

Best of Luck from real Cork on your recovery.

5am is the usual release time from the 'Drunk Tank', best to avoid those areas at that time,
especially anyone with a sheet of paper (Charge sheet) in hand.

The cops told their kids were taken off them yesterday, and this why they wanted me to take them to cork.although why ey were in Dublin I dont know.ill be honest the reasons I wont press charges is,firstly I just want them out of my life, and honestly fear of reprocissions .after its the cremers we are ealing  with here.im 64-years of age ,and hopefully I have a bit of time left.I would like to enjoy it without thoughts of those tramps

Sorry for your trouble DM. A better day is coming.

So the kids and yourself had a lucky escape, their next victim might not be so lucky

Jaysus, you've had more grief in a few days than I've had in over 20 years, DM. As far as the first instance is concerned you should be nothing other than proud of the way you handled the situation. The other one, however easier said than done, just needs to be put down to experience. If any of us were to focus on the inherent dangers we face driving taxis up above in Dublin we wouldn't go to work at all.
