Your EU licence was accepted by BOTH the NTA AND Garda when you applied to sit the test. Therefore, they acknowledged you weren`t a learner driver. IMHO, the 1 year requirement was nullified. If you want a different opinion, there`ll be one along shortly. I`ve given you my thoughts on how to resolve this, take it or don`t take it.

Im just saying that i did make a note to NTA of what about the Gards are asking for now, and what their replay to me was.
Now, im looking to see how i can get in touch with superintendent Taylor, to tell/show him that i did meet his requirements.

Most driving licenses are only valid for 10 years and you said you couldn’t exchange your eu license for Irish one so you knew you had to change it, why wait til it was required??

Did you provide the Police Certificate from your home country to say that you are a good boy??

You must be fucking loaded to come here, live for almost 10 years, buy a taxi suitable for taxi, buy a license, kit out the taxi, do your theory test, 12 hours of lessons in 2 months.  If so, why the fuck would you want to drive a fucking taxi. All those stumbling blocks I’d have walked away and that is me advice to you

Firstly on the test day just have been made a copy of the EU licence that i had at the time and later while sending all the file to the garda station sll was ok.
The guys from my local station was very good to accept and check it as it was, they did their job spot on.
After 2 months from the carriage office have been sent a letter mentioning that i do have to update the licence so that shows the current address, as the picture above.
Was in person next day after i've got the letter, did check with the guy from reception and told him my story, ,and asked him about new Irish licence holders have to be 2 years with N plates on the car, will that not gonna be a problem? where his replay was: u do have driving experience already, showing up to my existing licence....Great!

You never said you were an Irish citizen, just you had an Irish passport but an EU citizen. If you became an irish citizen why didnt you get an irish driving licence then?? So you could avoid the penalty points ya sneaky bastard.

I did'nd exchanged it few years ago when i was planing to, as have been told by the insurers that the EU rules apply to everybody, especially after january'13 when the new EU driving licence format did come in place.
And the RSA told me that i can drive as long as the licence is valid, so why should i bother?
And it was required 2 months after the test have been done, not before the test.
As on the NTA website u can check is written clearly that an Irish or EU one is required in order to get the PSV, so why the NTA does not change that to say that only an Irish licence is required for PSV.
When i did ask them why over there is written that both of them are ok but the gards are asking just Irish??
Their replay was that i have to deal myself with the gards-who doesnt follow the Nta rules.

How u can get another coutry's passport without being its citizen aswell?
Sorry-i did mention that im an EU citizen but have an Irish passport by meaning that i do hold dual citizenship.
So i do have 2 different passports, and now 2 different licences both EU standarts, as u said that i did try to avoid the penalty points before, now the Irish state and RSA did give me the freedom to do it the legal way-by your thinking.

So you have 2 passports, I know people who also have 2 passports, actually, an uncle of mine holds 3 passports.
If you move to a country you should expect to change everything to that country.
AFAIK, if you live here for more than a year you have to change your driving licence, happened my Sister-in-law. She had to do lessons and pass irish test.

I recall once a collegue/competitor saying that they seen a taxi with N plates on a taxi.

Anyways, you're still avoiding the answer to "What country are you from?"
